Are you right for Jasper?

Jasper is a sensitive and intelligent little dog. He enjoys being near his person, pottering about the house, and settling down once he feels comfortable. He likes routine and predictability, and forms strong bonds with his people, especially through calm, low-key time together. He's a bright boy who responds well to gentle, consistent training. Jasper can find too much handling or attention overwhelming, and has reacted by snapping when uncomfortable in the past - he does best with a calm, hands-off approach from someone who understands dog body language and respects his space. He needs to be the only pet in the home, as he's not comfortable around other dogs, and would benefit from quiet walking areas or a secure garden. He's still learning that it's okay to be left alone and will need support and patience with this.

Is Jasper right for you?

Jasper would be happiest in a calm, experienced, adult-only home with very few visitors, where busy environments won't overwhelm him. He's not your typical lap dog, but he builds a really special bond with the right person, based on trust, patience and understanding.
