Are you right for Oaty?
Oaty loves training, especially scent work and puzzle games. The volunteers rate him one of the most intelligent dogs at the shelter!
He prefers fuss on his own terms and needs people to respect his space; he can growl or snap if his boundaries are pushed, so he needs a patient adopter who understands dog body language.
He is muzzle-trained for grooming and vet visits.
Is Oaty right for you?
Oaty is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with few visitors and no visiting children - where he can feel safe and relaxed. A secure garden would be wonderful so he can explore, play, and settle down with his favourite chew. Oaty needs someone who will give him time to settle and is happy to enjoy learning alongside him.
